What we do
Take a Look at What We Do
Between 2003 and 2009 Cynthia Pinckney Ministries, Inc. gave out free clothing, food, shoes, household items, toiletries, blankets, work boots, bus tickets (for relocations), and encouragement and hugs throughout the city to the needy of all ages, including infants. The ministry also provided funds for shelter and electricity and water deposits enabling some families to get off the streets. It is estimated that approximately 400 needy and homeless individuals living on the streets of Brandon are benefiting on a weekly basis.
Between 2004 and 2009, over 4,000 Thanksgiving and Christmas meals were served in various ways to the homeless and needy within our community.
But don’t think these have been isolated events because Cynthia Pinckney Ministries provides help on a daily basis to the needy, hungry, homeless, and displaced. In 2003, the Ministry served Thanksgiving Dinner to about 200.
