2009 has
come to a close, and it has been a blessed year for Ministry. This is just a
synopsis of what has been accomplished during the year.
·
Fed and clothed
over 4500 participates.
·
Provided
temporary shelter for 15 single moms and family units.
·
Provided
lunches for the working homeless and needy in community.
·
Paid electric
bills for 10 single moms, and paid water for 2 families.
·
Provided bags
of groceries in 102 homes with the number of children ranging from 4-8 who
couldn’t receive food from any other source.
·
Provided
groceries to approximately 15 – 20 homeless on a weekly basis.
·
Also provided
assistance to our homeless who live in the county parks – relocating to
another park every 14 days.
·
During Monthly
Outreach, we serviced 45-80 homeless and needy guests with clothing shoes,
toiletries, groceries, hot meal, etc.
·
Provided
furnishings for families who had little/nothing.
·
Provided Bus
tickets for homeless participates relocating with family members in other
cities/states.
·
Donations of
food, clothing, toiletries, infant formula, pampers were given to other
agencies who needed resources to help their clients.
·
Offered prayers
and consolation to grieving members of homeless and needy population who
were in desperate situations.
·
5th
Annual Thanksgiving Dinner provided over 3000 pieces of clothing,
toiletries, socks, blankets shoes, etc. Gave out approximately 200 bags of
groceries to families, and over 100 bags to the homeless. Served a 7 course
meal, and provided services of haircuts, foot massages, school supplies,
children arts & crafts, etc. Over 800 guests participated in the
festivities.

3rd
Annual Christmas Dinner, co-hosted with River of Life Cluster Churches,
served over 450 guests with delicious hot meal w/full trimmings. We also
provided clothes, toiletries, shoes, blankets, socks and many other items.
·
We gave out
over 400 gifts to children as we celebrated the birth of Jesus.

Cynthia Pinckney Ministries, Inc.
helps adults in the community who already have a place to live but cannot
afford simple hygiene articles, or even plates and eating utensils. The
ministry has assisted many families with basic furniture and modest
furnishings. |
