Community Based Outreach Ministry
Aspirations of our Community-Based Outreach Ministry
Cynthia Pinckney Ministry Support:
•Spearheading the start-up of a community-based outreach support system in different communities with church member participation.
•Train volunteers in all areas in order to initiate viable outreach support stations in their neighborhoods.
•Encourage and offer help and support where needed.
•Help discern what strategies the church group or organization would need to implement the most efficient and effective method to achieve their outreach objectives. This would include identifying and targeting the most urgent needs of their community.
• Set up a database indicating which areas need help and also implement a tracking system to keep abreast of those individuals who have been helped.
•Prayers make a difference. This not only lays the foundation for the outreaches for Our Community-Based Outreach Ministry, but open doors for the message of Jesus Christ to be shared through each of the outreaches we undertake.
•Getting out of our comfort zones to get involved in someone else's life. Uniting together in partnership will enable us to find new and creative ways to give hope to those in need and change lives of people in our community.
•The sprinkling of our salt should permeate the community and world to prevent further decay. This light of the world (Jesus characteristics) through us should illuminate the darkeness in the world to show the glory of God.
