New Certification Policy for 2010Schedule for Volunteer Training Class

Classes for New Volunteers

• July 24, 2010

• August 28, 2010

• September 25, 2010

• Note:  All volunteers who have already taken the training class and would like to participate in the  Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners – should email Cynthia Pinckney for position placement by Friday, July 2, 2010, and to receive other instructions.

Upon completion of this training, each volunteer will receive a certificate and completion card allowing them to volunteer at the Thanksgiving and Christmas events, while the tangible needs of the homeless are blatantly apparent, the emotional needs are not. Our training will equip our volunteers to better serve the homeless with not only their meals, but in showing great care and compassion to those displaced loved ones of our Father.

Class sizes are limited, so email Cynthia to pre-register, and as soon as there are confirmed dates, times and locations, you will be contacted to finalize the registration process.

But don’t think these have been isolated events because Cynthia Pinckney Ministries provides help on a daily basis to the needy, hungry,  homeless, and displaced.  In 2003, the Ministry served Thanksgiving Dinner to about 200.  Between 2004 and 2008, over 1,750 Thanksgiving and Christmas meals were served to the needy in our community.
